The 2 Trees of Eden: Escape the Dark Side of Knowledge

Are you an expert in life? Most people, after decades of living, would still say no. You've weathered storms, but some days you still struggle to get up, and you can't say why.

In the beginning, God placed two trees in the Garden of Eden: the Tree of Life and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. It's one of the most puzzling and most relevant passages in the Bible. Why were Adam and Eve allowed to eat from one, but not the other?

Pastor Steve Cioccolanti, who studied under Kenneth Hagin, suggests that most pain in our lives can be traced back to repeating this first mistake. To what extent can the pursuit of knowledge do us more harm than good?

"The promise of good apart from God will kill just as fast as the intent to do evil."

Kindness and severity. Soft and hard. Build down before you build up. Simple, foundational truths that keep Christians from the most common mistakes they make.

Watch it and find out which tree you've been eating from.
