"If I ask for help, something must be wrong with me." "If I make a mistake, I'm a bad person." "If my decision doesn't work out, I'm a failure."
Who made those rules? Not God. Yet many believers run their whole emotional life on rules a teacher, a parent, or a boss installed decades ago, and then wonder why a saved, Spirit-filled Christian still quits everything halfway.
Pastor Steve Cioccolanti, who has spent 10 years watching church members panic at the thought of asking for help, explains why some people walk through unspeakable pain and stay joyful while others have everything and fall apart. The difference lies somewhere else entirely.
