2 Things to Avoid During the Trials of Life

"If God is good, why is there suffering?" It keeps more people from faith than any other question, and you may be asking it in your own trial.

The Bible dedicates a whole book to it. The story of Job occupies 42 chapters: 7 on the divine perspective, 35 on the human. In this first session Pastor Steve Cioccolanti takes the divine side and challenges the idea that Job may be famous for the wrong reasons.

Did God hand Job over to Satan? Where was the land of Uz, and why does it matter today? How long did Job's trial actually last? (Spoiler alert: not decades.)

"There is unmerited suffering in this world, but there is no causeless suffering."

You'll learn little-known facts about Job that may change your perspective, and the 2 most common pitfalls Job fell into, the same ones we all fall into when trouble hits. Job is not so different from you, and his story ends well.

Watch now and get to the other side of your trial.
