"Coming from a buddhist family and growing up hating christianity, I must say that it is nothing short of miracle for me to get to know Christ. Many opportunities in the past where I attended churches or being evangelised by other christians, but none of them got my attention, in fact, I hated them even more. One day, throught prayer, I somehow had the willingness to give attending church one more try and that church happened to be Discover Church, and it also happened that Pastor Steve was teaching on 4000 years history. The teaching was pragmatic, biblical, and "make sense". Before that, I always thought that bible was a collection of myth and I was the forerunner for mocking it. But from that day onward, I started to get curious and wanted to hear what could be next. At that point, I still wasn't into Christianity yet, I was purely drawn by the truth and mind-opening teaching that I heard. Weeks gone by and without realizing, I had attended almost the entire 4000 years of history teachings (prob. about 10 weeks). At the end of that conference, my mind was more opened than I was before. The weekly teachings that I received was practical and applicable. I started to believe more that the bible wasn't just a fairy tale and proofs were every where presented right before my eyes. At this point, I decided to surrender my life to Christ knowing that He is the author of bible and He is God just like what the bible said. All thanks to Discover Church for giving me the opportunity to know Christ in person. "
