The Great Commission.
Jesus’ final words are recorded in Matthew 28 and Mark 16.
Jesus told the disciples that they were not only to be witnesses of all that had happened to Him, but that they were to make disciples. That is the great task that God expects of each of us, in His service. Mark’s recount of the Great Commission paints a great picture of ‘power evangelism’ rather than the often quoted ‘friendship evangelism’. Sadly, so often friendship evangelism is an excuse for ‘non-evangelism’.
Mat 28:19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations…
