Was the star over Bethlehem a comet, a lineup of planets or an exploding sun? Every Christmas someone offers a scientific explanation, and every Christmas the wise men get called astrologers.
Pastor Steve Cioccolanti, who has walked churches through the entire Old Testament in twelve sessions, closes the 4000 Years of History series by taking you from Daniel's prayer in Persia to a house in Bethlehem. On the way you will see why God waited for a Greek language and Roman roads before sending His Son, and how one prophet in exile gave foreigners the date of the Messiah's arrival.
You'll discover:
The three natural theories for the star, and the problem with each
Why the Magi knew the time but not the place
The qualification for the Messiah that rules out every modern claimant
How God narrowed humanity to one Man, then widened it to the nations
"Bible knowledge goes a long way to immunizing you from cults and false beliefs."
If you have ever been told the Christmas story is a myth, this teaching is for you. Watch now and settle what really shone over Bethlehem.
