The Life of David Part 2: Developing skills for His Glory

Why is there more written about David than any other person in the Old Testament? Why is David alone called “a man after God’s own heart”? How did David become Israel’s greatest king? David did not start out sitting on his throne and having an easy life – he faced challenges and needed to grow just like everybody else. David’s life, we find, is a model for every believer’s life!
In this five-part story, Act Two continues with God developing David’s character through the people and events that surrounded him. God was working on David to deal with enemies, friends, leadership, and rejection. Has God ever dealt with you in these areas?
