Answers from the Book of Job

The Book of Job is one of the most misunderstood books of the Bible. God dedicated 42 chapters to the subject of pain and suffering, yet many preachers concentrate on only the first or second chapter. This series will lead you from the beginning to the middle until the end of the Book of Job.
It is virtually impossible for an unbeliever to trust God without knowing that God CARES about such questions as: Why do the wicked proposer and the righteous suffer? What about the unfairness of life? Christians, too, want more than theological platitudes when it comes to suffering and pain. When Christians get sick and don’t get healed, some claim to be Job. Is that Biblical? When Christians suffer materially, some say, “I’m just like poor old Job!”  Did God test Job? These are rational questions that demand Biblical answers.
The good news is God does not expect us to believe “blindly”. God expects us to believe based on evidence and truth. Come take another look at Job!
